Cinema has at one end the creative storytellers, and at the other end is the audience to whom the stories are told. In between are countless creative and technical professionals who make the magic happen. 

 

For cinema audiences globally, whether in large commercial auditoriums or small, private entertainment spaces, the goal is to be immersed in the narrative and for the artistic intent of the content creators to be realized. Whether it be movies, television, or gaming, it's about the "suspension of disbelief."

What We Do

​

• We showcase high performance cinema rooms, the professional designers, engineers, and builders who create them, the technologies behind them, and of course the user experiences

• We provide a platform for the industry to inform and promote excellence in cinema design including standards and engineering principles

• We advocate for technologies new and old, and to bring together commercial and private entertainment spaces

What We Don't Do

 

• We don't design cinema rooms and systems. Instead, we showcase the inspiring (and sometimes award-winning) work of those that do

• We don't sell products. But we do display a list of equipment for a project if the submitting designer/installer provides it

• We don't do product reviews
